A 79-Year-Old Man Married a 27-Year-Old Woman—Then His Friend Asked About Their Wedding Night

A 79-year-old man named Arthur married a beautiful 27-year-old woman.

The next morning, Arthur walked into the hotel breakfast room looking unbelievably energetic.

He was smiling.

Whistling.

And somehow looked more refreshed than anyone expected.

His best friend, 81-year-old Harold, was already sitting at a table.

The moment he saw Arthur, his eyes widened.

He leaned closer and whispered:

“Arthur, you’re nearly 80!”

“How did you survive your wedding night with a bride that young?”

“Weren’t you worried about your heart?”

Arthur calmly sat down.

He picked up his coffee.

Took a slow sip.

Then leaned toward Harold and whispered:

“I wasn’t worried about my heart. I was worried about hers.”

Harold blinked.

“What do you mean?”

Arthur smiled.

“She spent the entire night checking whether I was still breathing.”

Harold stared at him.

Then Arthur continued:

“By 2 a.m., she was so exhausted from worrying about me that she fell asleep before I did.”

Harold burst out laughing.

The woman at the next table covered her mouth.

Another guest nearly spit out his coffee.

Arthur simply smiled and took another sip.

Harold shook his head.

“You’re unbelievable.”

Arthur grinned.

“At our age, my friend, the secret to a successful wedding night isn’t stamina.”

He paused dramatically.

“It’s a good mattress, a full night’s sleep, and remembering where you left your reading glasses.”

The entire table erupted in laughter.

And Arthur, still whistling happily, went back to his breakfast as if nothing unusual had happened.
